TMC Slams PM Modi's Roadshow After Republic Day Celebrations
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has slammed the Centre over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow following the Republic Day celebrations. The party said Republic Day is a dignified occasion meant to honour India’s defence forces and the Republic, and should not be turned into a political event. TMC accused the Prime Minister of promoting a personality cult and politicising a national celebration.
