Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Hooghly today for the second leg of his West Bengal tour, where he will lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹800 crore. During the first day of his visit, the Prime Minister attacked the Trinamool Congress, accusing it of blocking central funds, sheltering infiltrators, and failing on women's safety. The TMC has strongly rejected the allegations, accusing the BJP of targeting Bengalis in other states and spreading misinformation.
