According to local media reports, the Cambodian Ministry of National Defence stated in a press release that the parties discussed preparations for the upcoming third Special General Border Committee meeting scheduled for Saturday, December 27. Footage also shows military delegations from Thailand and Cambodia holding a preliminary meeting at the border area on Wednesday in an effort to pave the way for formal ceasefire talks. Cross-border hostilities are continuing, with both sides reporting an increase in civilian casualties.
