Chinese automaker BYD has overtaken Tesla in total EV sales, amid expiring US tax incentives, rising competition, and backlash over Elon Musk’s politics. Despite the slowdown, investors remain optimistic about Tesla’s future in robotaxis, AI, and robotics.
