Tension Simmers In Sandeshkhali Over Sex Assault Charges Against TMC Leader

West Bengal State BJP president Sukanta Majumdar was rushed to a hospital after he fainted and suffered injuries during a scuffle with cops. The incident occured after BJP workers clashed with the police on February 14th. The state BJP chief and other party workers held a sit-in protest outside the police superintendent's office in Basirhat, demanding that they be allowed to visit Sandeshkhali to meet women who accused Congress leaders of harassment.
