Tamil Nadu Polls: ED Alleges ₹1,020 Crore Bribe Network Linked To Minister KN Nehru
Ahead of the Tamil Nadu elections, Minister KN Nehru faces renewed scrutiny from the Enforcement Directorate, which has accused him and his network of collecting 7.5%-10% of contract values from municipal and water supply tenders. The ED has sent a fresh letter to the Chief Secretary and DGP, submitting a 252-page report that alleges ₹1,020 crore was collected as bribes and party funds. This is the agency's second such communication in just 36 days.
