The clip appears to show him crushing a white powder-like substance with an ATM card while a ₹500 note is visible nearby, prompting allegations from the opposition. Responding to the controversy, the minister said the video was recorded two years ago and that he was crushing medicine for his unwell daughter, dismissing claims that it involved drugs.
