High voter turnout has been recorded in the crucial Tamil Nadu bypolls, with Madhuranthakam registering 70.31% and Dharapuram 68.08% polling. The three-cornered contest between TVK, AIADMK and DMK is being closely watched as a test of Chief Minister Vijay's popularity after four months in office.
