Tamil Nadu Approaches Supreme Court Against High Court Order On Deepam Row

The Tamil Nadu government has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Madras High Court order allowing the lighting of a lamp on the Thirupparankundram hill in the state.

The C Joseph Vijay-led state government had moved the top court on June 11 and filed the petition through the Tamil Nadu government counsel B Karunakaran.
