When asked whether the recent escalations by the Chinese to wrest Indian territory, such as the recent one that took place in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh was a concern for India or not, Ranbir Singh Pathania, spokesperson for the BJP said, "In the recent years, the strengthening of QUAD, the strengthening of border infrastructure, and the increased movement of India in the South China Sea along with measures such as banning Chinese apps, decreasing trade dependence of India on China are just some we have taken to push back against the Chinese."
