To prevent annual flooding of Delhi and other big cities in India, Vimlendu Jha, Founder and Head of NGO Swechha said that concrete steps need to be taken as there is no quick fix to the gargantuan problem. He further emphasised on the need to dismantle structures constructed on the Yamuna riverbed or in the floodplain.
