Residents Navigate Floodwaters In Delhi As Yamuna River Rises Above Danger Mark

Floodwaters covered parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region after the Yamuna River rose above the danger mark, disrupting daily life and forcing families from their homes. Footage captured on Friday shows houses underwater, residents navigating flooded streets, and families receiving aid. "We were on the ground floor. We removed all the things we could. But all other things, like the bed and fridge, were destroyed. [...] There has been no electricity for the last four days. They are telling us that the water level will go down in a day or two. We also pray to God that we get some help from the government," a resident said.
