Supreme Court Allows UP To Use Temple Funds To Buy Land For Corridor, With A Condition

The Supreme Court has allowed the Uttar Pradesh government to use funds from the Shri Banke Bihari Temple (Vrindavan) for acquiring five acres of land around the temple for corridor development. The Supreme Court imposed a condition that the acquired land should be registered in the name of the deity.
