Following a controversy over his remarks on Indian fishermen, Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe reiterated that the country's Navy had the right to shoot anyone who intruded into their territorial waters. Speaking to NDTV, Mr Wickremasinghe said that both Sri Lanka and India were working to resolve the fishermen's issue. His comments came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's trip to the island nation which he said was a "successful visit".
