Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi's old CM remark, BJP has asked the Congress general secretary that why is he campaigning for Karunanidhi in Tamil Nadu when he slammed Kerala Chief Minister Achuthanandan.
Targeting 87-year-old VS Achuthanandan, Rahul Gandhi (40), projected as the youth face of the Congress, said at a campaign meeting that if the Left Democratic Front was re-elected, Kerala would have a 93-year-old Chief Minister in five years' time.
Mamata Banerjee has called her political rival, the CPM, a party in a coma; the Left retaliated by saying while coma patients can be revived, there's little help for those who're brain dead.
The woman who hopes to replace M Karunanidhi as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu said, "The main issue in these elections is the all-pervasive corruption indulged in by Mr Karunanidhi, his family members, his party members, his ministers and the entire DMK."
