Smit Machchhar Is Indian. Should India Have A Direct Role In The FlyDubai Probe?
Captain Smit Machchhar is an Indian citizen who survived a violent cockpit attack aboard a FlyDubai flight. As investigations by the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Israel move forward, the question is: what role should India play in establishing exactly what happened, why it happened and whether anyone else was involved? The UAE has launched a probe into whether the incident involved terrorist activity, while Israeli investigators are also expected to question the Omani co-pilot.
