Women of Worth Conclave: We, the Unequal
At the NDTV-L'Oréal Women of Worth conclave, the panel consisting of eminent voices from across different fields discussed how women is expected to excel at work and at home, and maintain an impossible work-life balance, even if the expectation breeds guilt they are shortchanging both ends. Out in the professional world, another inequality comes into play. Whether in a corporate job or in the world of art, barring a handful, women command lesser remuneration than men, quality of work notwithstanding. How must a modern women battle these inequities?
