Nearly two days after the CBSE's shock announcement about a re-examination of two papers in board exams, its chief Anita Karwal said the decision was taken "in favour of children". The dates for the re-examination of Class 10 Mathematics paper and Class 12 Economics paper will be announced very soon, she said. Is the CBSE chairman's statement enough? Why is there no new date yet? The police have questioned 25 people today, but not one person in the CBSE was questioned. Just how is accountability going to be fixed? The CBSE got a tip-off about the 'leak', so why were the exams not scrapped?
