What next for BJP's Mysore Looks MP Prathap Sima He's at the centre of the parliament security breach incident that unravelled yesterday that led to fierce protests on a furore from the opposition today in both houses of parliament. 14 opposition MPs in the Luksa and one in the Raja Sabha were suspended after protests. Demands for action against the BJP MP Prathap Sima and a statement from the home Minister on this issue, whose office Prathap Sima's office has issued visitors passes to those who breach security and released gas canisters inside the house yesterday. Remember the opposition hit out at the government and called their suspension undemocratic. But first to you, Maria Pratap Sima is one aspect of it. What is the BJP's larger game plan in terms of fighting this from the opposition? Because the opposition is training its guns on action against Pratap Sima and be a statement from the home Minister. But the buck stops with whom is a question and will there be a statement from the government? For the moment, the sense is that it is the L a secret which has to explain. And perhaps another explanation that will come will be only after the DG CRPF, who is conducting a probe a multi level multi agency probe, will submit his report. What about Pratap sama? Specifically Maria? What's the thinking within? Well, the thinking within, because Prathap Sima did did meet the speaker yesterday and presented his side of the story. He also met the parliamentary as Minister Palad Joshi as well. So the the B JP certainly doesn't think that he is responsible. He did not really know who man and would get along with him. And what were the large game plan in terms of this kind of disruption inside the visitors gallery when you know, when we did try to reach to Pratap Simha sources clearly indicating that you know several MPs do the same, but because this was an act of terror which happened on the anniversary of the you know, 22nd anniversary of the attack that happened in Parliament in 2001. The sense certainly is that Mr Pratap Zima will have to join the investigation and he'll have to answer those questions. But for the moment, it's unlikely that the BJP will be taking any action against its MP that's in New Delhi. But prati, he seems to be facing the political heat from the Congress in Mysore as well as in Bengaluru. That's right. Yesterday, the congress members did assemble outside the office of Pratap SMA in Mysore and they continued the protest in Bangalore today and they have been laying out two demands. One is the resignation of Pratap Sema, and two is the arrest of Pratap Sema as well because they refuse to believe that this could be an innocent act of issuing passes to members who come from his constituency seeking a visit or a visitor's pass to the Parliament. And they feel that this is pre planned and that the motive or a background check was to have been conducted mandatorily by Pratap Sma before issuing the pass. These are the voices that we are hearing from the Congress Party so far, but there are no word from BJP sources from here as well. All of them tight lipped about this. For now, they are trying to believe that this could be an innocent move of Pratap sma for the moment.
