The Fugitive Economic Offenders Bill was passed by the Rajya Sabha today which promised India that it wouldn't have to face the humiliation of seeing people like Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and most recently Mehul Choksi fleeing the country amid crores of rupees of unpaid dues. Mehul Choksi has bought himself a citizenship of tiny nation like Antigua by reportedly paying Rs 1.3 crore which allows him to escape extradition in the Rs 13,000 crore PNB scam. Tonight on Reality Check, we look at how these people escape the law by landing up in tax havens.
