No independent probe, no impartial investigation in the irrigation scam. Yet NCP's Ajit Pawar is back as Maharashtra's Deputy chief minister, thanks to a controversial white paper prepared by the NCP's own department which gave him a clean-chit. But by not asking for a proper investigation, has Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan dented his own credibility as the opposition alleges?
