Several Areas Of Chennai Waterlogged, Some Homes Flooded After Heavy Rain

Many parts of Chennai remain waterlogged following heavy rain through the night till 8:30 this morning. The weather department has predicted a heavy to very heavy rain for tomorrow. Chief Minister MK Stalin has visited the rain-hit areas and has ordered relief to the affected people. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), police and fire service personnel have been deployed to help in the rescue work.
