The sand over five-kilometre stretch of Mumbai's popular tourist spot, Juhu beach, has turned black following an oil spill. Neither Indian Coast Guard or any other marine authority has clarified the reason behind the spill. The cleaning process was conducted by Mumbai's civic body. Oil spills have long lasting impacts with experts advising people to stay away from the beach for few days.
