Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of showing no genuine willingness to end the war, saying Vladimir Putin continues to find excuses to avoid talks and direct meetings. Zelenskyy warned that Russia could expand its military activities beyond Ukraine and urged stronger cooperation with international partners, including tougher sanctions and “pre-emptive defensive measures”. His remarks came as Russia launched strikes across Ukraine, including Kyiv, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia, damaging homes, buildings and vehicles.
