The safety of 8,000 Indian nationals, most of them students, is of urgent concern as the Ukraine-Russia war enters day 10. Eastern Ukraine, where the most intense fighting is happening, is also where many Indian students are pursuing medical degrees. For those returning, a big worry is about the future.
