Rudrani Chhetri Honoured As India's True Legend To Be Remembered For Good

42-year-old Rudrani Chettri, a Graduate Transgender female born and brought up in Delhi emerged as the winner for India's True Legend To Be Remembered For Good category. She is the founder member of the first community-based organization in Delhi called Mitr Trust (2005) which works on the issues of men who have sex with men (MSM), Transgender and Hijras. She is the founder of India's first transgender modelling agency, BOLD. She is also an actor, and model and represents India at Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria as Transgender is a key population affected by HIV/AIDS. She is also a managing committee member of the INFOSEM India network of LGBTIQH.
