Siddaramaiah, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, is overseeing preparations ahead of Rahul Gandhi's visit to Kolar, the same place where he made the controversial remark over Modi surname in the run up to the 2019 general election that led to his disqualification as the Wayanad MP. But the real star at the grassroots at Kolar is Siddaramaiah, who has fought high-octane election campaigns and now the Congress has kept everyone guessing whether or not he will get to contest from Kolar which he wishes to do so.
