Rajinikanth Receives The Dadasaheb Phalke Award | Read

South Star Rajinikanth received his Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India's highest film honour, from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu at New Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan today. The superstar dedicated the award to his "producers, directors, film fraternity and fans." He attended the ceremony with his son-in-law Dhanush, who won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Asuran. Rajinikanth's wife Latha and their daughter Aishwarya, who is married to Dhanush, were also there. After being honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Rajinikanth recalled his journey from a bus conductor to a renowned actor and thanked his old friend who suggested that he join films.
