Rahul Gandhi Visits Lal Chowk, To Hold Key Meet With Congress Workers
Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi arrived in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar on August 22. Rahul Gandhi along with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will be holding a meeting with the party workers today. During the visit, the Congress leader visited the 'historic' streets of Lal Chowk in Srinagar. Security has been heightened outside the hotel where Congress workers will chalk out strategy for Assembly elections. The polling in the Union Territory will be held in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1. Congress is likely to ally with the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference ahead of the polls.
