Punjab News | Punjab Kabaddi Player Murder Case: Main Accused Killed in Mohali Police Encounter
Two days after a 30-year-old kabaddi player was shot dead during a tournament in Punjab’s Mohali, the main accused, Harpinder alias Middu, was killed in a police encounter. Police said Harpinder, a resident of Tarn Taran district, was injured in an exchange of fire and later succumbed to his injuries at a hospital. Mohali SSP Harmandeep Hans reached the encounter site and told NDTV how the accused was chased and neutralised during the operation.
