Protests Grow Over University Exams
In a fresh row, several states told the centre that no university exams should be held during the coronavirus pandemic. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has called it unfair. Protests have grown after the University Grants Commission said the final year university exams should be conducted by the end of September. Four states - West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra and Punjab - have expressed their inability to comply.
