Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has sharply criticised the use of an AK-47 rifle during the July 25 'Bihar Bandh' student protests, questioning whether the demonstrators were being treated as "terrorists." Her remarks came after a viral video allegedly showed a Bihar Police constable using an AK-47 during protests in Siwan district. The Bihar Police Headquarters suspended the constable and ordered an inquiry into the incident.
