Priyanka Chaturvedi Slams MCD Over SC's Stray Dog Relocation Order

Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has strongly criticized the Delhi Municipal Corporation and government authorities over the Supreme Court–ordered stray dog relocation drive. Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, she pointed out the MCD’s failure to maintain sterilization drives, build shelter homes, and ensure proper infrastructure before carrying out such an order. Chaturvedi questioned how the relocation could be implemented without adequate facilities, warning that the burden is falling entirely on voiceless animals dependent on human care. She called for accountability from the responsible authorities, stating that the current approach is failing both the animals and the law.
