In a pre-election press conference in Myanmar, Aung San Suu Kyi, Burmese opposition politician and General Secretary of the National League for Democracy (NLD) in Burma, spoke about Myanmar’s association with India. She told NDTV’s Sreenivasan Jain that their country expects more from India. “India is one of the largest democracies and I have good memories of my stay in India,” she added.
