Politics of disruption: BJP getting taste of its own medicine?

If there was a glimmer of hope that a fractured Opposition would mean this session of Parliament would be allowed to function, it seems to have disappeared. The Rajya Sabha where the BJP doesn't have the numbers was shouted down by the Congress, even though the BJP made it clear that Sushma Swaraj was willing to immediately make her statement on allegations against her in the Lalit Modi scandal. On The Buck Stops Here, we debate: with Congress adopting Parliamentary disruptions as a tactic, is the BJP getting taste of its own medicine?

No mercy for Yakub Memon in 1993 blasts case: Justice or just symbolism?

Yakub Memon, the man seen to be one of the masterminds of the 1993 Mumbai blasts in which 257 people were killed will hang on July 30. This after Supreme Court dismissed his curative petition.
