Political Row Erupts Over Baba Ramdev's 'Hindu Rashtra' Remarks
A political controversy has broken out over Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's remarks on the idea of a "Hindu Rashtra" and shared ancestry. Ramdev said that while people may follow different religions, everyone's ancestors are the same, and asserted that Muslims and Christians have nothing to fear in India. The Congress, however, questioned the remarks, with senior leader Salman Khurshid asking for clarity on the context and alleging that such statements could contribute to social divisions.
