PM Modi Unveils 18,000-Crore Projects, Says Andhra Pradesh Key To 'Viksit Bharat' Vision

In Bhogapuram, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for projects worth nearly ₹18,000 crore, including the new international airport. Calling Andhra Pradesh a major growth engine for a developed India, Modi highlighted investments in aviation, ports, railways, semiconductors, AI infrastructure and green energy, and said the state is advancing at "double-engine" speed under the NDA government. He also announced that the Bhogapuram airport will be named after freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju.
