India and Vietnam have upgraded their bilateral relationship to an Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership following high-level talks in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vietnamese President To Lam announced the move after discussions aimed at boosting cooperation in trade, technology, defence, and regional security. The two countries also set an ambitious target to increase bilateral trade to $25 billion by 2030.
