Addressing students via video conferencing at Assam's Tezpur University's 18th convocation ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the young graduates to live for a new, self-reliant India. "Our nation is entering the 75th year of independence (in August). Innumerable people of Assam had contributed to India's freedom. Several people sacrificed their lives, their youth. Now you have to live for a new India, an Aatmanirbhar Bharat," he said. (Credit: ANI)
