In an attempt to tackle migration challenges in Andhra Pradesh, Berkeley University along with the state government have introduced the rural women to the Silai School initiative. With skill development as the key to smart villages, the USHA Silai International partnered with Smart Village Mission to provide employment to underprivileged women. The income increased, self-confidence restored and a goal in life has been established in the lives of rural women.
