Professor Bhramar Mukherjee, Health Data Scientist, Chair Of Biostatistics, at the University Of Michigan, School Of Public Health, says she had warned about the positivity rate in India slowly rising and had said that as cases were down, there was a need for an aggressive vaccination drive. Given the current spike in cases, she says that India needs to go between 5-10 million vaccine doses per day.
