About 85 boys were arrested by the police on June 10 in Uttar Pradesh's after protests over the remarks made by former BJP leader Nupur Sharma against Prophet Mohammad. The video of the police beating up some of these young men went viral. First, the police denied the fact that they beat up the boys, then later after the report of NDTV, orders have been given for investigation. 8 of the boys who were beaten up by the police were acquitted by the Saharanpur court. Mohammad Ali, who was acquitted, broke his hand due to the beating of the police.
