At least six people have died after a ground-plus-three-storey building collapsed onto nearby shanties in Mumbai's Mankhurd amid heavy rainfall. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM in Janata Nagar, trapping several residents under the debris. Two National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams, along with local emergency personnel, launched an extensive rescue operation despite heavy rain and unstable rubble. Several injured victims were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital as search efforts continued.
