Heavy rainfall lashed Mumbai and its adjoining areas, bringing normal life to a standstill as widespread waterlogging, traffic snarls, and fallen trees disrupted daily life. Several areas, including Andheri Subway, Andheri Railway Station, Ghatkopar, Bandra East, and Nerul, witnessed severe flooding, while traffic crawled on the Mumbai-Pune and Mumbai-Goa highways due to continuous rain. Strong winds also uprooted trees, damaging vehicles in multiple locations.
