After her MPs abstained from a vote in the Lok Sabha on the controversial National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee told NDTV that the anti-terror body in its current form was unacceptable. But the Congress said that the government was not trying to ram through the proposed body and would hold consultations with states and allies before it was operationalized.
