Iran’s military command issued a statement on Monday stating that ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz must coordinate with them. “We warn that any foreign armed forces — especially the aggressive U.S. military — that intends to approach or enter the Strait of Hormuz will be targeted,” Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters Major General Pilot Ali Abdollahi said in a statement which was read out on state television.
