In its third successive year of drought, Telangana has seen massive migration to cities like Hyderabad by people from far flung districts, all in search of livelihood. Narsinghi, a small area in the Ranga Reddy district, houses many of these migrants. In a quarter acre-compound, which shelters more than 20 families, live Raju and his brother Keshav who had moved to Narsinghi with their wives and children after their paddy fields dried up.
