Foreign Vaccines, such as Pfizer and Moderna, are a step closer to enter India as government sources have said that they have no issue in granting indemnity from liability to these vaccines. The drug controller has said these vaccines will not need bridging trials in India; The Centre's policy of giving free vaccination to the 45-plus age group and having a paid system for those below, is "prima facie arbitrary and irrational", the Supreme Court said in its detailed order of Monday's hearing made available today.
