The Home Ministry has proposed the setting up of a federal investigative agency like the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the US. This decision comes as there is no major breakthrough in investigations of terror attacks in Hyderabad, Ajmer and Ludhiana. Instead the Centre and State involved get engaged in a blame game.
