At least 42 people have died in Andhra Pradesh, which has been receiving non-stop rain for the past six days. Nearly 15,000 houses have been damaged, 1,700 cattle have perished, and crop on over six lakh hectares, mainly paddy and cotton, has been inundated in the 16 districts of the state.
